Inside every Infinity Home alarm panel, there is a cell chip inside just like your cell phone. This allows the panel itself to communicate with the central station without needing a landline. With this technology we are protecting our customers from one of the number one ways burglars can bypass a security system, cutting the phone lines. The cell chip in the panel will call out to the central station and from there the central station can begin dispatch. But before any of that can happen we must program the cell chip with the customer's information.
First you will need the ACD cell number off the cell chip itself
When the technician arrives at the home they will call in the cell chip information they will be using during the customer's alarm installation. During this call you will need to obtain the following:
- Installation Type (Residential or Business)
- Customer Name, Address, Phone number, and email address
- The package type they will be installing so you will know what to activate on the customer's account
From here you will begin registering the cell chip in Alarm.com.
Registering the cell with Alarm.com
On Alarm.com you will select "Customers" then "Create New Customer". Next, you will select "Create Customer" then the "Next" button which will lead you to the following page where you will enter the *starred customer's information you have received from the technician:
